GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS

Small Group Training offers an in-person coaching experience that is available for more advanced soccer players looking to get an edge on their competition. These small group training sessions target ages 5-13 (boys and girls) and will be conducted with 4-6 players in each session. Sessions are offered in the soccer off-season, running from June through mid-August and mid-November through mid-March.

Training is customized and designed to fill the gaps a player may not be receiving at their current club team. All players are unique, and develop at different rates. Club team practices are designed to teach players how to work together, in order to maximize the probability of the team winning, and often do not have enough time to develop the fundamental skills of the individual player. The goal of small group training is to take time to sharpen an individual’s fundamentals and skills, so when a player returns to team training, they can offer the team more.

How It Works

1. Complete the information sheet below.

2. Schedule a short consultation call to discuss time, location, and expectations (from Spring Sports coaches, parents, and players).

3. Past locations:

  • Milwaukee Movement (Brookfield, WI)

  • Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex (Brookfield, WI)

  • Canterbury Park (Brookfield, WI)

  • Burghardt Sporting Goods Performance Center (New Berlin, WI)

  • OAW Indoor Sports Complex (New Berlin, WI)

4. Make a check payable to Spring Sports, LLC for $250 and bring to the first session.

What You Get

1.  Five, one-hour training sessions across 5-6 weeks.

2. Weekly “Soccer Homework” individualized for each player. This gives the player something to work on during the week, this will help develop habits on how to train by themselves.

3. Video and written demonstration of each session for the player to keep in the future.

Environment

The environment of small group training will have a drastically different tone to that of team training. This training will be slower and more personal to each player. Players are encouraged to make mistakes. There is no coach or parents watching and no scout analyzing every decision or touch the player is making. Parents play a pivotal role in helping the player understand this and will be talked about at length in the consultation call.
